About Me

I am Rabbi Daniel Naftoli Surovtsev, the community rabbi in Baden-Baden. My work is to strengthen Jewish life, make tradition and halacha accessible, and support the Jewish community in all its diversity.

Born in Minsk, Belarus, I went on to study at the Rabbinerseminar zu Berlin, where I received my rabbinical training. Today, I combine a deep knowledge of Judaism with contemporary ways of sharing it, through teaching, digital content and personal encounters.

On this website, I offer insights into my work, reflections on Torah and thoughts on everyday Jewish life. Welcome to rabbiner.online!

How I Can Help You

I offer individual consultations, informative lectures, personal guidance on Jewish life, halacha and spiritual growth, and online lessons on a range of topics.

Online Learning

Drawing on years of experience in digital teaching, I offer in-depth, interactive online courses on Jewish life and halacha. I teach weekly on Toldot.com and have already delivered numerous online courses.

Individual Consultations

I offer personal guidance on important areas of life, from preparing for conversion to Judaism and planning a chuppah to everyday halachic questions. With extensive knowledge and practical experience, I help you find individual solutions in keeping with the principles of halacha.

I regularly share educational and inspiring content across several platforms. On my YouTube channel, you will find in-depth lectures and shiurim; on Telegram, current topics in halacha and Jewish life; and on TikTok, short, clear explanations of Jewish traditions and values.

Social Media

Rabbi Surovtsev’s personal website is impressive. The projects are well presented, and the links to social media are very helpful. Highly recommended!
